इस शास्त्र के अनुसार दण्ड के द्वारा जगत को उचित मार्ग पर लगाया जाता है अथवा राजा अपने अनुसार प्रजा में दण्ड का विधान करता है; इसीलिए यह दण्डनीति नाम से प्रसिद्ध है। इसका विस्तार तीनों लोकों में होगा ॥78॥
'According to this scripture, the world is set on the right path through punishment or the king institutes punishment among the subjects accordingly; That is why this knowledge is famous by the name of Dandaneeti. It will expand in all three worlds. 78॥
