सत्यनित्य: क्षमानित्यो ज्ञाननित्योऽतिथिप्रिय:।
यो ददाति सतां नित्यं स मां पृच्छतु पाण्डव:॥ ९॥
अनुवाद
जो सदा सत्यभाषी, सदा क्षमाशील और सदा ज्ञानवान रहते हैं, जो सदा अतिथि-सत्कार में रुचि रखते हैं और सदा सज्जनों को दान देते हैं, वे पाण्डुपुत्र युधिष्ठिर मुझसे यह प्रश्न करें॥9॥
'Yudhishthira, son of Pandu, who is always truthful, always forgiving and always in the state of knowledge, who is always fond of hospitality and who always gives donations to good people, should ask me this question.॥ 9॥
