यो लोभान्न समीक्षेत धर्मसेतुं सनातनम्।
निहन्ति यस्तं समरे क्षत्रियो वै स धर्मवित्॥ १७॥
अनुवाद
जो क्षत्रिय लोभ के कारण सनातन धर्म और जीवन की मर्यादा की ओर न देखकर युद्धस्थल में उसका वध करता है, वह निश्चय ही धर्म का ज्ञाता है ॥17॥
The Kshatriya who, out of greed, does not look towards the eternal Dharma and the limits of his life, kills him in the battlefield, he is certainly knowledgeable about religion. 17॥
