कपाले यद्वदाप: स्यु: श्वदृतौ च यथा पय:।
आश्रयस्थानदोषेण वृत्तहीने तथा श्रुतम्॥ ४२॥
अनुवाद
जैसे मनुष्य की खोपड़ी में रखा हुआ जल और कुत्ते की खाल में रखा हुआ दूध आश्रय के दोषों के कारण अशुद्ध हो जाता है, वैसे ही कृतघ्न ब्राह्मण का शास्त्रज्ञान भी आश्रय के दोषों के कारण दूषित हो जाता है ॥ 42॥
Just as the water stored in a human skull and the milk stored in a dog's skin become impure due to the defects in the shelter, so too the knowledge of scriptures of an ungrateful Brahmin becomes contaminated due to the defects in the shelter. ॥ 42॥
