कथमन्नं कथं पात्रं दानमध्ययनं तप:।
कार्याकार्यं च यत् सर्वं शंस वै त्वं प्रजापते॥ ४॥

‘प्रजापति! भोजन क्या है? पात्र कैसा होना चाहिए? दान, अध्ययन और तप का स्वरूप क्या है? कर्तव्य क्या है और अकर्तव्य क्या है? यह सब हमें बताइए।’॥4॥
‘Prajapati! What is food? What should the vessel be like? What is the nature of charity, study and austerity? What is duty and what is non-duty? Tell us all this.’॥ 4॥
