वह ब्राह्मण अपने उद्देश्य को भली-भाँति समझकर नियमानुसार यात्रा करता हुआ सर्प के घर पहुँचा। घर के द्वार पर पहुँचकर उसने 'भो:' शब्द से विभूषित वाणी कहकर पुकारा - 'क्या कोई है? मैं यहाँ द्वार पर आया हूँ।'॥3॥
The Brahmin, who understood his purpose well, went on a journey according to the rules and reached the house of the serpent. Reaching the door of the house, he called out uttering words adorned with the word 'Bho:' - 'Is there anyone? I have come here at the door.'॥ 3॥
