जो परम पुरुष प्रजातंत्र का पूर्ण धाम या प्रकाशक है, वही जानने योग्य परम तत्त्व है। वही ज्ञाता है, वही ज्ञेय है। वही मनन करनेवाला है, वही मनन करने योग्य है। वही भक्षक है, वही भक्ष्य है। वही सूंघनेवाला है, वही सूंघने योग्य है। वही स्पर्श करनेवाला है, वही स्पर्श करने योग्य है।॥17॥
The Supreme Being who is the complete abode or illuminator of democracy is the ultimate element that is to be known. He is the knower and he is the known. He is the contemplator and he is the object to be contemplated. He is the eater and he is the edible object. He is the smeller and he is the object to be smelled. He is the toucher and he is the object to be touched.॥17॥
