‘जब सातवें कल्प के प्रारम्भ में ब्रह्माजी के कमल से सातवीं बार उत्पन्न होने का अवसर आया, तब सत्-अत्म से रहित, अनन्त तेजस्वी महायोगी भगवान नारायण ने सर्वप्रथम अपने नाभि कमल से ब्रह्माजी को उत्पन्न किया। ब्रह्माजी के प्रकट होने पर भगवान ने उनसे यह कहा—॥17-18॥
‘When at the beginning of the seventh kalpa the occasion came for the seventh time for Brahmaji to be born from a lotus, then the infinitely radiant Mahayogi Lord Narayana, who was devoid of good and evil, first created Brahmaji from his navel lotus. When Brahmaji appeared, the Lord said this to him—॥17-18॥
