वृषो हि भगवान् धर्म: ख्यातो लोकेषु भारत।
नैघण्टुकपदाख्याने विद्धि मां वृषमुत्तमम्॥ ८८॥
अनुवाद
भरतनंदन! भगवान का धर्म सम्पूर्ण जगत में वृष नाम से प्रसिद्ध है। वैदिक कोश में वृष का अर्थ धर्म बताया गया है; अतः मुझ वासुदेव को उत्तम धर्म का स्वरूप 'वृष' समझो। 88॥
Bharatnandan! God's religion is famous in the entire world by the name of Vrishka. In the Vedic dictionary, Vrishka has been described as meaning religion; Therefore, consider me Vasudev as 'Vrish', the embodiment of the best religion. 88॥
