नासीदहो न रात्रिरासीन्न सदासीन्नासदासीत् तम एव पुरस्तादभवद् विश्वरूपम्। सा विश्वरूपस्य रजनी हि एवमस्यार्थोऽनुभाष्य:॥ ८॥
अनुवाद
उस प्रलय काल में न दिन था, न रात्रि, न सत्य था, न असत्य, केवल अंधकार ही अंधकार था। वही सर्वव्यापी हो रहा था। वही विश्वात्मा की रात्रि है। इस श्रुतिका का अर्थ इसी प्रकार कहना और समझना चाहिए॥8॥
In that period of destruction there was neither day nor night, neither truth nor untruth, only darkness was in front. That was becoming all-pervasive. That is the night of the universal soul. This is how the meaning of this shrutika should be told and understood.॥ 8॥
