प्राचीन काल में मैंने वराह रूप धारण करके नष्ट हो चुकी और रसातल में गई हुई पृथ्वी को पुनः प्राप्त किया था, इसीलिए देवताओं ने अपनी वाणी से मुझे 'गोविन्द' कहकर मेरी स्तुति की थी (गा विन्दति इति गोविन्द: - जो पृथ्वी को प्राप्त करता है, उसका नाम गोविन्द है)॥70॥
In ancient times, I had reclaimed the earth, which had been destroyed and had gone into the abyss, by assuming the form of a Varaha, that is why the Gods had praised me by calling me 'Govind' through their voice (Ga Vindati Iti Govind: - The one who attains the earth, his name is Govind). 70॥
