| प्राचीन काल में महर्षि भरद्वाज आकाशगंगा के जल में खड़े होकर जलपान कर रहे थे। उस समय भगवान विष्णु तीन पग में तीनों लोकों को नापते हुए उनके पास पहुँचे। तब भरद्वाज ने जल से भरे हाथ से उनकी छाती पर प्रहार किया। इससे उनकी छाती पर एक निशान बन गया॥ 54॥ |
