अथ विश्वरूपं नन्दनवनमुपगतं मातोवाच पुत्र किं परपक्षवर्धनस्त्वं मातुलपक्षं नाशयसि नार्हस्येवं कर्तुमिति स विश्वरूपो मातुर्वाक्यमनतिक्रमणीयमिति मत्वा सम्पूज्य हिरण्यकशिपुमगात्॥ ३०॥
अनुवाद
फिर एक दिन माँ ने नंदनवन में विश्र्वारूप से कहा, "पुत्र, तुम अपने मामा के पक्ष को नष्ट करके दूसरे पक्ष को क्यों बढ़ा रहे हो? तुम्हें ऐसा नहीं करना चाहिए।" विश्र्वारूप ने अपनी माँ की आज्ञा का सम्मान किया और उन्हें विदा करके स्वयं हिरण्यकशिपु के पास गए।
Then one day the mother said to Viśvarūpa, who was in the Nandanvana forest, "Son, why are you destroying your maternal uncle's side while increasing the other side? You should not do this." Viśvarūpa respected his mother's command and sent her off and went to Hiranyākaśipu himself.
