सुरपक्षो गृहीतस्ते यस्मात् तस्माद् दिव: पत॥ १५॥
अद्यप्र्रभृति ते राजन्नाकाशे विहता गति:।
अस्मच्छापाभिघातेन महीं भित्त्वा प्रवेक्ष्यसि॥ १६॥ |

| राजन! तुमने यह जानते हुए भी कि अज का अर्थ अन्न है, देवताओं का पक्ष लिया है; अतः स्वर्ग से नीचे गिर जाओ। आज से तुम्हारी आकाश में विचरण करने की शक्ति नष्ट हो गई। हमारे शाप के प्रहार से तुम पृथ्वी को भेदकर पाताल में प्रवेश कर जाओगे ॥15-16॥ |
