प्राप्नुवन्ति तत: पञ्च न भवन्ति गतायुष:॥ २८॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | आत्मा अनादि काल से साथ-साथ जन्म लेने वाले शरीर के साथ अपना संबंध स्थापित करती है। इस शरीर की दस अवस्थाएँ हैं - गर्भ, जन्म, बाल्यावस्था, युवावस्था, किशोरवय, युवावस्था, वृद्धावस्था, वृद्धावस्था, मृत्यु और मरण। इनमें से सातवीं और नौवीं दशाओं में भी शरीर में स्थित पाँच भूत ही प्राप्त होते हैं, आत्मा नहीं। जीवन के अंत में और जब शरीर नौवीं अवस्था में पहुँच जाता है, तब इन पाँचों भूतों का अस्तित्व नहीं रहता। अर्थात् वे दसवीं दशा को प्राप्त होते हैं। 28॥ | | | | The soul establishes its relationship with the body that was born together from time immemorial.
