जैसे नाव के टूट जाने पर उस पर बैठे हुए लोगों को निकालने के लिए दूसरी नाव तैयार रखी जाती है, वैसे ही जब एक शरीर में जीवात्मा मर जाता है, तो मृत्यु के बाद दूसरा नाशवान शरीर तैयार रखा जाता है, ताकि वह अपने कर्मों का फल भोग सके ॥22॥
Just as when a boat breaks down, another boat is kept ready to take the people sitting on it off, similarly, when a soul dies in one body, another perishable body is kept ready after death so that it can enjoy the fruits of its actions. ॥22॥
