त्यज्यन्ते दु:खमर्था हि पालने न च ते सुखा:।
दु:खेन चाधिगम्यन्ते नाशमेषां न चिन्तयेत्॥ १८॥
अनुवाद
धन के व्यय में महान दुःख है। उसकी रक्षा करने में कोई सुख नहीं है और वह बड़ी कठिनाई से प्राप्त भी होता है। इसलिए धन को हर स्थिति में दुःखदायी मानकर उसके नष्ट होने की चिंता नहीं करनी चाहिए ॥18॥
There is great sorrow in spending money. There is no happiness in protecting it and it is also obtained with great difficulty. Therefore, considering money as painful in every situation, one should not worry about its loss. ॥18॥
