दह्याम्यनिशमद्यापि चिन्तयान: पुन: पुन:।
हीनां पार्थिवसिंहैस्तै: श्रीमद्भि: पृथिवीमिमाम्॥ ५॥
दृष्ट्वा ज्ञातिवधं घोरं हतांश्च शतश: परान्।
कोटिशश्च नरानन्यान् परितप्ये पितामह॥ ६॥ |

| दादाजी! आज भी मैं इसी चिंता से बार-बार जल रहा हूँ। इस पृथ्वी को उन धनवान राजा सिंहों से रहित, बन्धु-बान्धवों का भीषण संहार, सैकड़ों अन्य लोगों का विनाश तथा करोड़ों अन्य मनुष्यों का वध देखकर मैं पूर्णतः व्यथित हूँ। |

| Grandfather! Even today I am burning with this worry again and again. I am completely distressed seeing this earth devoid of those wealthy king lions, the horrific slaughter of brothers and relatives, the destruction of hundreds of other people and the slaughter of crores of other humans. |
