इह लोके हि धनिनां स्वजन: स्वजनायते।
स्वजनस्तु दरिद्राणां जीवतामपि नश्यति॥ ८८॥ |

| इस संसार में धनवानों को ही उनके अपने सम्बन्धी अपने सगे-संबंधी समझते हैं; जबकि निर्धनों के सम्बन्धी उन्हें जीते जी त्यागकर उनकी दृष्टि से ओझल हो जाते हैं ॥ 88॥ |
