न यावदेव पच्यते महाजनस्य यावकम्।

| बेटा! तुम्हारे घर आए हुए किसी माननीय अतिथि के लिए यवक (जौ के आटे से बनी घी और चीनी मिलाकर बनाई गई खीर) पकाने में जितना समय लगता है, उससे पहले ही तुम्हारी मृत्यु हो सकती है; इसलिए तुम्हें ज्ञान-धन प्राप्त करने में शीघ्रता करनी चाहिए ॥ 49॥ |
