संन्यस्यते यथाऽऽत्मायं व्यक्तस्यात्मा यथा च यत्।
परं मोक्षस्य यच्चापि तन्मे ब्रूहि पितामह॥ २॥ |

| पितामह! यह मनुष्य शरीर जिस प्रकार स्थूल शरीर को त्यागता है और स्थूल शरीर का जीवात्मा जिस प्रकार सूक्ष्म शरीर को त्यागता है, वह मुझे कृपा करके बताइए, अर्थात् स्थूल और सूक्ष्म दोनों शरीरों के अभिमान से किस प्रकार मुक्त हुआ जा सकता है, उनके त्याग का स्वरूप क्या है और मोक्ष का क्या तत्त्व है?॥2॥ |
