याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच
पादावध्यात्ममित्याहुर्ब्राह्मणास्तत्त्वदर्शिन:।
गन्तव्यमधिभूतं च विष्णुस्तत्राधिदैवतम्॥ १॥
अनुवाद
याज्ञवल्क्यजी कहते हैं - राजन् ! तत्वदर्शी ब्राह्मण कहते हैं कि दोनों चरण आध्यात्मिक हैं, गन्तव्य प्रबल है और विष्णु ही अधिष्ठाता हैं ॥1॥
Yajnavalkyaji says – King! Tatvdarshi Brahmins say that both the feet are spiritual, the destination is overpowered and Vishnu is the presiding deity. 1॥
