एकत्वं च बहुत्वं च प्रकृतेरर्थतत्त्ववान्।
एकत्वं प्रलये चास्य बहुत्वं च प्रवर्तनात्॥ ३५॥
अनुवाद
शब्द के तत्व को जानने वाले को यह जानना चाहिए कि प्रलय के समय प्रकृति में एकता होती है और सृष्टि के समय अनेकता होती है। इसी प्रकार मनुष्य भी प्रलय के समय एक रहता है; किन्तु सृष्टि के समय प्रकृति का प्रेरक होने के कारण उस पर अनेकता का आरोप होता है।
A person who knows the essence of the word should know that there is unity in nature at the time of dissolution and multiplicity at the time of creation. Similarly, man also remains one at the time of dissolution; but at the time of creation, being the motivator of nature, he is accused of multiplicity.
