स लिङ्गान्तरमासाद्य प्राकृतं लिङ्गमव्रण:।
व्रणद्वाराण्यधिष्ठाय कर्मण्यात्मनि मन्यते॥ ४८॥
अनुवाद
पुरुष स्वयं छिद्ररहित होकर भी प्रकृति द्वारा रचित चिह्नरूपी नाना शरीरों को धारण करता है और छिद्रों में स्थित इन्द्रियों का अधिष्ठाता बनकर उन सबकी क्रियाओं को अपने में ग्रहण करता है ॥48॥
Purusha himself, despite being without holes, supports the various bodies in the form of signs created by nature and by becoming the presiding deity of the senses located in the holes, he accepts the actions of all of them in himself. 48॥
