युधिष्ठिर उवाच
यदि तुल्यं व्रतं शौचं दया चात्र फलं तथा।
न तुल्यं दर्शनं कस्मात् तन्मे ब्रूहि पितामह॥ १०॥
अनुवाद
युधिष्ठिर ने पूछा - पितामह! यदि इन दोनों मतों में उत्तम व्रत, भीतर-बाहर की पवित्रता तथा दया एक ही है और दोनों का फल भी एक ही है, तो फिर इनके दर्शनों में समानता क्यों नहीं है, यह कृपा करके मुझे बताइए॥10॥
Yudhishthira asked - Grandfather! If in both these beliefs, good vows, purity inside and outside and compassion are the same and the result of both is also the same, then why is there no similarity in their philosophies, please tell me this.॥10॥
