प्रीतिमन्तौ मुदा युक्तौ समयं चैव चक्रतु:।
यो भवेद्धृदि संकल्प: शुभो वा यदि वाशुभ:॥ ८॥
अन्योन्यस्य स आख्येयो मृषा शापोऽन्यथा भवेत् ।

दोनों ने प्रसन्नतापूर्वक प्रेमपूर्वक यह शर्त रखी थी कि हमारे मन में जो भी अच्छे या बुरे विचार उत्पन्न हों, उन्हें एक-दूसरे से कह देना चाहिए, अन्यथा हमें मिथ्या शाप का दण्ड भोगना पड़ेगा।
Both of them had happily and lovingly made a condition that whatever good or bad intentions arise in our minds, we should tell each other about it; otherwise we will have to bear the brunt of the false curse. 8 1/2
