कर्मों का विस्तार दुःखमय है और कर्मों का छोटा होना सुखदायी है। कर्मों का विस्तार तो परमार्थ के लिए है, अर्थात् मन और इन्द्रियों की तृप्ति के लिए है; परन्तु त्याग अपने लिए हितकर माना गया है।॥20॥
The extension of actions is full of pain and the shortening of actions is pleasurable. All the extension of actions is for altruism, i.e., they are for the satisfaction of the mind and the senses; but renunciation is considered beneficial for oneself.॥ 20॥
