जिस प्रकार शरीर के अंग एक-दूसरे पर आश्रित हैं, उसी प्रकार यह नश्वर संसार - स्त्री, पुत्र और पशु आदि का समुदाय एक-दूसरे पर आश्रित है। यह संसार केले के अन्दर के समान व्यर्थ है। जैसे नाव जल में डूब जाती है, वैसे ही यह सब काल के प्रवाह में लीन हो जाता है।॥16॥
Just as the parts of the body are dependent on each other, similarly this mortal world - the community of wife, children and animals etc. are dependent on each other. This world is as worthless as the inside of a banana. Just as a boat sinks in water, similarly all this gets immersed in the flow of time.॥16॥
