जैसे नदी पर बनाया गया मजबूत बाँध टूटता नहीं और इस प्रकार वहाँ का जलस्तर बढ़ता रहता है, वैसे ही प्राचीन आचार संहिता पर बनाया गया धर्म का बाँध टूटता नहीं और इस प्रकार आसक्ति रहित संचित तप बढ़ता रहता है ॥11॥
Just as a strong dam built across a river does not break and thus the water level there keeps on increasing, similarly the dam of Dharma built on the ancient code of conduct does not break and hence the accumulated austerity without attachment keeps on increasing. ॥11॥
