एवं तस्य प्रवृत्तस्य नित्यमेवानुपश्यत:।
रागद्वेषौ विवर्धेते ह्यनित्यत्वमपश्यत:॥ ४॥
अनुवाद
इस प्रकार कर्ममार्ग पर रहते हुए वह इन वस्तुओं को नित्य देखता है, परन्तु उनकी अनित्यता की ओर उसका ध्यान नहीं जाता; इसलिए उसके मन में इनके प्रति राग-द्वेष बढ़ने लगता है ॥4॥
Thus, while living on the path of action, he sees these things regularly, but his attention does not go towards their impermanence; therefore, attachment and hatred for them start increasing in his mind. ॥ 4॥
