हे प्रिय! संसार सागर में डूबते हुए मनुष्य के पुण्य कर्म कभी-कभी तब तक स्थिर रहते हैं जब तक वह दुःखों से मुक्त नहीं हो जाता। तत्पश्चात्, दुःख भोगने के पश्चात् जीव अपने पुण्य कर्मों का फल भोगने लगता है। जब पुण्य कर्म भी क्षीण हो जाते हैं, तब वह अपने पापों का फल भोगता है। हे मनुष्यों के स्वामी! आप इसे अच्छी तरह समझ लें।
O dear! The good deeds of a man drowning in the ocean of the world sometimes remain stable till he is freed from sorrow. Thereafter, after the suffering of sorrow is over, the living being starts enjoying the fruits of his good deeds. When the good deeds too get exhausted, then he enjoys the fruits of his sins. O Lord of men! You should understand this very well.
