प्रभु! सभी आश्रमों के लोग भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकार के आचरण दर्शन देते हैं और ‘यह श्रेष्ठ है’, ‘यह श्रेष्ठ है’ ऐसा उपदेश देकर वे (अपने-अपने सिद्धांतों की श्रेष्ठता का बखान करते हैं और) सब मनुष्यों के मन में वही बात बिठाते हैं। 8॥
'Lord! The people of all the ashrams give different darshan of conduct and by giving sermons like 'This is the best', 'This is the best', they (proclaim the superiority of their own principles and) inculcate the same thing in the minds of all human beings. 8॥
