जो मनुष्य कर्म नहीं करता और जो कुछ मिलता है उसी पर निर्वाह करता है, वह भी यदि पुण्यात्माओं की संगति में रहता है तो उसे शुद्ध पुण्य की प्राप्ति होती है और यदि वह पापियों की संगति में रहता है तो उसे पाप का भागी होना पड़ता है ॥38॥
Even a man who does not undertake any action and subsists on whatever he gets, if he stays in the company of virtuous souls, attains pure virtue; and if he stays in the company of sinners, he incurs sin. ॥ 38॥
