आप अग्निदेव हैं जो यज्ञ करते हैं अथवा उसे सभी देवताओं तक पहुँचाते हैं। आप ही मन और इंद्रियों को वश में रखने वाले हैं। आप ही भक्तों के दुःख देखकर व्यथित होते हैं और शत्रुओं को पीड़ा पहुँचाते हैं। आप ही तट हैं। आप ही तट के किनारे बहने वाली नदी आदि हैं और आप ही तटों के रक्षक हैं। आपको नमस्कार है।
