महेश्वर उवाच
एष वृत्रो महान् शक्र बलेन महता वृत:।
विश्वात्मा सर्वगश्चैव बहुमायश्च विश्रुत:॥ ३४॥ |

| महेश्वर ने कहा- इन्द्र! यह महाबली वृत्रासुर विशाल सेना से घिरा हुआ तुम्हारे सामने खड़ा है। ज्ञान में तत्पर होने के कारण यह सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड की आत्मा है। इसमें सर्वत्र जाने की शक्ति है। यह अनेक प्रकार की मायाओं का भी सुविख्यात ज्ञाता है॥34॥ |

| Maheshwara said- Indra! This great Vritrasura is standing in front of you surrounded by a huge army. Being devoted to knowledge, he is the soul of the whole universe. He has the power to go everywhere. He is also a well-known knower of many types of illusions. ॥ 34॥ |
