हे परंतप युधिष्ठिर! उस ब्राह्मण ने वन में तपस्या द्वारा सिद्धि प्राप्त करके, किसी भी प्राणी की हिंसा न करते हुए, उस यज्ञ का अनुष्ठान किया, जो मूल और फल द्वारा भी स्वर्ग की प्राप्ति कराने वाला है।॥5॥
Parantap Yudhishthir! That Brahmin, after attaining perfection through penance in the forest, without doing any violence to any of the living beings, performed the ritual of Yagya which leads to attaining heaven through roots and fruits also. 5॥
