ये सब यज्ञ के अंग हैं और यज्ञ ही इस जगत् की उत्पत्ति का मूल कारण है; ऐसा श्रुतिका का कथन है। घी, दूध, दही, छाछ, गोबर, चमड़ा, बाल, सींग और पैर - इन सबके द्वारा गाय यज्ञ का अनुष्ठान करती है। अतः इनमें से प्रत्येक वस्तु, जो भी विहित हो, एकत्रित करनी चाहिए।॥27-28॥
All these are parts of Yajna and Yajna is the root cause of the existence of this world; this is the statement of Shrutika. Ghee, milk, curd, buttermilk, cow dung, leather, hair, horns and feet – the cow performs Yajna rituals through all these. Thus, each of these things, whichever is prescribed, should be collected.॥27-28॥
