दम्पत्यो: प्राणसंश्लेषे योऽभिसंधि: कृत: किल।
तं माता च पिता चेति भूतार्थो मातरि स्थित:॥ ३४॥
अनुवाद
पति-पत्नी में मैथुन के समय सुयोग्य पुत्र की जो इच्छा होती है, वह यद्यपि पिता और माता दोनों में होती है, तथापि वास्तव में वह इच्छा माता में ही स्थित होती है।॥ 34॥
'The desire that a husband and wife have during sexual intercourse to have a capable son, though it is held by both the father and the mother, yet in reality that desire is established only in the mother.॥ 34॥
