जातकर्मणि यत् प्राह पिता यच्चोपकर्मणि।

अनुवाद
जातकर्म और उपनयन संस्कार के समय पिता द्वारा दिया गया आशीर्वाद ही पिता की महिमा का प्रमाण देने के लिए पर्याप्त और प्रबल प्रमाण है॥16॥
'The blessings given by the father at the time of Jaatkarma and Upanayanam ceremonies are sufficient and strong evidence to ascertain the glory of the father.॥ 16॥
