पिता की आज्ञा का पालन करना परम धर्म है और माता की रक्षा करना पुत्र का प्रधान कर्तव्य है। पुत्र कभी स्वतंत्र नहीं होता, वह सदैव माता-पिता के अधीन रहता है। अतः मैं ऐसा क्या करूँ कि मुझे धर्म की हानि का दुःख न सहना पड़े? ॥11॥
'Following the orders of the father is the ultimate religion and protecting the mother is the prime duty of a son. A son is never independent, he always remains under the control of his parents. So what should I do so that I do not suffer the pain of loss of religion? ॥ 11॥
