परन्तु हे ब्रह्मन्! तेल, घी, शहद और औषधियाँ बेचने में क्या हानि है? बहुत से लोग, यह जानते हुए भी कि जिन देशों में डंक मारने वाले कीड़े और मच्छर नहीं होते, वहाँ जन्मे और पले-बढ़े पशुओं को बलपूर्वक उन देशों में ले जाया जाता है जहाँ डंक मारने वाले कीड़े, मच्छर और कीचड़ बहुतायत में हैं। भारी बोझ से दबे अनेक बोझा ढोने वाले पशुओं को लोग अनुचित रूप से कष्ट पहुँचाते हैं।
But, O Brahman! What is the harm in selling oil, ghee, honey and medicines? Many people, despite knowing that animals born and bred in countries where there are no stinging insects and mosquitoes are not present, are forcibly taken to countries where there are plenty of stinging insects, mosquitoes and mud. Many beasts of burden, suffering from the heavy load, are unjustly harassed by people.
