जो लोग स्वर्ग जाने की इच्छा से धर्म-कर्म करते हैं, वे स्वर्ग का फल पाकर सौभाग्यशाली कहलाते हैं, फिर जब वे पुण्यात्मा होकर स्वर्ग से नीचे गिर जाते हैं, तब दुर्भाग्यवश दूषित माने जाते हैं, इस प्रकार कर्मों का नाश होते देखकर बुद्धिमान पुरुष सदैव सकाम कर्मों की निंदा करते हैं ॥34॥
Those who perform religious activities with the desire of going to heaven, they are called fortunate after getting the fruits of heaven, then when they fall down from heaven after becoming virtuous, then unfortunately they are considered to be contaminated, in this way, seeing the destruction of the deeds, wise men always condemn the fruitful deeds. 34॥
