जो मनुष्य अपने आचरण में भ्रष्ट है, वह शोक और भय से रहित होने पर भी, यदि उसमें धन की किंचित भी इच्छा हो, तो वह दूसरों के साथ ऐसा विश्वासघात करता है कि भ्रूण-हत्या जैसा पाप करने का विचार भी उसके मन में नहीं आता॥ 21॥
'A person who is corrupt in his moral conduct, even though he is free from grief and fear, if he has even the slightest desire for wealth, betrays others in such a manner that he does not even think of committing a sin like killing an embryo.॥ 21॥
