सभी लोग, चाहे वे प्रधान हों या गौण, शास्त्रों में वर्णित धर्म के अनुकूल कर्मों को ही धर्म मानते हैं। महर्षियों ने लोक जीवन के उद्देश्य की पूर्ति के लिए ही यहाँ धर्म की मर्यादा स्थापित की है॥4॥
All the people, both the prime and the minor, definitely consider the acts which are in accordance with Dharma as mentioned in the scriptures as Dharma. The great sages have established the limits of Dharma here only to fulfill the purpose of public life.॥ 4॥
