ब्राह्मण को वेदों का विद्वान, तत्वदर्शी, गुणवान और चतुर होना चाहिए। उसे अपने धर्म के अनुसार आचरण करना चाहिए, परंतु अपने कर्मों से वर्णसंकरता नहीं फैलानी चाहिए, अर्थात् अपने धर्म और दूसरे धर्म को मिलाना नहीं चाहिए। 27॥
A Brahmin should be a scholar of Vedas, a philosopher, virtuous and clever. He should act according to his dharma, but should not spread hybridity through his actions, that is, he should not mix his own dharma and other dharma. 27॥
