संशयं स तु कामात्मा चलचित्तोऽल्पचेतन:।
अप्राज्ञो न तरत्येनं यो ह्यास्ते न स गच्छति॥ २०॥

जो मनुष्य कामनाओं में लीन है, चंचल मन वाला है, मंदबुद्धि और अज्ञानी है, वह संशय के कारण कालनादी को पार नहीं कर सकता और जो स्थिर बैठा रहता है, वह भी उसे पार नहीं कर सकता।
A man who is engrossed in desires, has a fickle mind, is dull-witted and ignorant, is unable to cross the river Kalanadi due to doubts. And one who sits motionless cannot cross it either.
