ब्राह्मणों का यश घोर तप, गहन स्वाध्याय, यज्ञ या दान से बढ़ता है। जब तक इस लोक में उसकी कीर्ति बढ़ाने वाली कीर्ति रहती है, तब तक वह पुण्यात्माओं के सनातन लोकों में निवास करता हुआ दिव्य सुख भोगता रहता है। 9-10॥
The fame of Brahmins increases by great penance, thorough study, yagya or charity. As long as his fame, which increases fame, remains in this world, he continues to reside in the eternal worlds of the virtuous and enjoy divine happiness. 9-10॥
