बलि ने कहा, "इन्द्र! जब मैं शत्रुओं या मृत्यु के द्वारा बंदी बना लिया गया हूँ, तब मेरे सामने इस प्रकार शेखी बघारने से तुम्हें क्या लाभ होगा? पुरन्दर! मैं देख रहा हूँ कि आज तुम वज्र धारण किये हुए मेरे सामने खड़े हो।"
Bali said, "Indra! When I have been captured by the enemies or by death, what will you gain by boasting in front of me like this? Purandar! I see that today you are standing in front of me holding the thunderbolt."
