इन्द्र ने ऐसे तथा अन्य अनेक कठोर वचन कहकर बलि का अपमान किया। विरोचन के पुत्र बलि ने ये सब वचन बड़े प्रसन्नतापूर्वक सुने और बिना किसी भय के बलि को इस प्रकार उत्तर दिया।
Indra insulted Bali by saying these and many other harsh words. Bali, the son of Virochan, listened to all these words with great joy and without any fear replied to Bali thus.
