दिने दिनेऽस्तमभ्येति पुनरुद्गच्छते दिश:।
तावुभौ न रवौ चास्तां तथा वित्त शरीरिणम्॥
अनुवाद
सूर्य प्रतिदिन पूर्व दिशा में अस्त और पुनः उदय होता है; किन्तु सूर्य का उदय और अस्त दोनों ही सूर्य में नहीं हैं। इसी प्रकार, यह जान लो कि भगवान नारायण शरीर के भीतर अंतर्यामी के रूप में निवास करते हैं (उनमें सूर्य के उदय और अस्त होने के समान ही सशरीर और अशरीरी अवस्था की कल्पना की जाती है)।
The Sun sets and rises again in the east every day; but both the rising and setting of the Sun are not in the Sun. Similarly, know that Lord Narayana resides within the body as the inner controller (in Him the bodily and bodiless state are imagined just like the rising and setting of the Sun).
